Springfield, Ill., Oct. 29, 2015—Legal Files Software, Inc. announces that it has entered into an agreement with the Halifax Regional Municipality to implement its legal case management system for the Municipality’s Legal Services Division.
Legal Files Software, Inc. was awarded the contract after the Municipality evaluated the company’s response to a Request for Proposal for a Legal Case Management System (CMS).
The Legal Services division of the Legal, Insurance Contract Management and Risk Management Services Business Unit (HRM Legal Services) consists of approximately 20 lawyers and 10 administrative and support staff. Approximately 1,000 legal case files, prosecution case files and administrative files are opened on a yearly basis.
Once implemented, Legal Files will provide business efficiencies in order for Legal Services to better coordinate the delivery of client services and manage information and documentation on a case-by-case basis.
In addition to the licensing of its software and related services, Legal Files Software, Inc. is providing custom programming services to migrate three legacy systems.
