Mountain State Justice Selects Legal Files Software for Case Management & Reporting

“Legal Files’ dashboard really impressed us. You see all alerts, tasks or whatever that needs your attention, on one screen as soon as you log in.”

Mountain State Justice, which provides free legal services to low-income West Virginians, has licensed and is implementing Legal Files, the leading legal case management system from Legal Files Software, Inc., the software developer announced today.

Serving individuals statewide with offices in Charleston and Clarksburg, Mountain State Justice required a legal enterprise management system that would provide one, centralized location for all case related information, assuring that everyone has access to the most current information, according to Tina Casto, a paralegal with the non-profit.  “Legal Files’ dashboard really impressed us.  You see all alerts, tasks or whatever that needs your attention, on one screen as soon as you log in,” she said.

“We also expect that Legal Files will make checking for conflicts quicker and easier, and we’ll be able to do that across the organization,” Casto said.  “Plus, you don’t need to enter the same information over and over.  With Legal Files you enter a name just once and then reference that party’s information to a specific case or cases.  That’s tangible time savings.”

In addition to tracking case database, Mountain State Justice will use Legal Files to assist with client intake, automated document assembly, and meeting reporting requirements.
