Legal Files Software, Inc. today announced that the legal department at Youth Villages, an organization dedicated to helping emotionally behaviorally troubled children, has selected Legal Files as its case and matter management system.
Youth Villages’ legal team plans to use Legal Files to more efficiently manage a variety of legal matters including litigation, contracts, subpoenas, and advice, as well as for tracking outside counsel expenses.
“We are trying to manage using just general office software and network drives, but we are struggling to keep up with all the activity in all our matters,” explained General Counsel Jim Mulroy. “With Legal Files, we’ll be able to run the department more like a law firm. For all matters, we want to be able to better track all documents—both finished and drafts—all contacts, deadlines, emails, time, and such. Legal Files will help us achieve the efficiency we need and desire.”
