That’s because our full-featured case and matter management system lets you organize all your contacts, documents, deadlines and data within a proven, flexible set of practice-specific windows and workflow that can be easily customized to your office. We offer exclusive, seamless two-way integrations with Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes and Novell GroupWise, so you can save all your file related e-mails, calendars and tasks in one place, sharing this information with others. Plus, we link to a host of other industry-standard legal applications. Most importantly, we provide superior training and expert support to get you up and running quickly and smoothly. Legal Files is available in both a client-server and a browser based version (MyLegalFiles).

What makes Legal Files Different?

Case management software is our only product line and, as such, the company is able to devote 100 percent of its energy and resources to our applications. Case management is all we do -- and we do it better than anyone else. In addition, since Legal Files Software, Inc. is not a subsidiary of another organization with other, unrelated lines of business and interest, the company is able to provide a true partnership with its clients, resulting in a level of customer service that is truly unique in the legal software industry.

Additionally, unlike Legal Files, many applications are “tied” to other products or services, restricting the choice of users and forcing the purchase of substandard or unnecessary functionality or services.

The browser based version of Legal Files, MyLegalFiles, was developed specifically to work in a distributed networked environment. In developing the web application, Legal Files Software, Inc. made a conscious effort to keep the system as “pure” as possible to support the broadest range of technical environments and policies. Included in this was the decision NOT to use any Applets or Active X components that must be downloaded to the local browser in order to run the application. This development approach not only means the application can be deployed over most any LAN, WAN or even dial-up network connection, it also reduces the hardware requirements of the solution, saving customers money on their technology and infrastructure costs.
