System Specifications

Legal Files Software, Inc. offers a client/server version as well as a web based version of Legal Files case management software.

Database Server/Operating System:
Your database server requirements are determined by several factors including the number of Legal Files users, volume of files/matters and volume of documents. As an example, for a 20-person installation, Legal Files Software, Inc. recommends at least a 1.5Ghz Pentium IV single processor, with at least 512MB RAM (1 Gigabyte or greater preferred), a 100Mb network card and connection, running on NT 4, Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 servers.

Workstations/Operating System:
Legal Files Software, Inc. recommends at least a 600Mhz Pentium single processor, with at least 256MB RAM (256MB - 512MB preferred), a 100Mb network card and connection, running on any of the following Windows versions: NT, 2000, XP Pro or Vista (Ultimate, Business or Enterprise). Note: Your operating system's recommended hardware requirements may be greater than what Legal Files requires.

Replication and Notebooks/Operating System:
Legal Files Software, Inc. recommends at least a 1Ghz Pentium single processor, with at least 512MB RAM, a 100Mb network card and connection, running on any of the following Windows versions: NT, 2000 or XP Pro with Domain Authentication.

Database System:
Legal Files software runs on most ODBC/ADO compliant database systems, including Microsoft's SQL Server, Oracle and Sybase.
