“Legal Files has helped us become more organized and operate more efficiently.”
Legal Files Software, Inc., a leading provider of legal case software and best matter management solutions, today announced that the Arkansas Secretary of State has deployed its Legal Files system, illustrating the latest addition to software developer’s list of successes in the public sector/government market.
The Secretary of State’s Office uses Legal Files Software to electronically manage workflow, files and other data related to charitable solicitation registrations, once the purview of the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office, another Legal Files customer.
“A new piece of legislation, effective January 1 of this year, changed the filing office for charitable solicitation registrations and annual filings from the Attorney General’s Office to the Secretary of State,” explained Julie Wolfe, production law manager with the Secretary of State’s Business and Commercial Services Division.
“We looked to Legal Files to help us handle that workload,” she said. “But since Legal Files is so customizable, we have been able to expand its use to help us capture, track and manage fundraising counsel, paid solicitor and telephonic seller files and data.”
Legal Files also makes it easier for the Division to track renewal deadlines, Wolfe said, as well as streamline its processes by using the system’s document merging capabilities.
“Since we’ve completed the implementation, Legal Files has helped us become more organized and operate more efficiently,” she said. “Most importantly, it has allowed us to provide an even higher level of service.”
