Las Vegas Paving Corporation, the number-one heavy civil construction company in Nevada, has licensed Legal Files, the matter management and law office document management software, for use by its corporate legal department, Legal Files Corporate Legal Software, Inc. announced today.
“Like many in-house departments, we handle a large variety of matters including contracts, claims, litigation, employment, etc., so we wanted a system that could be used for any type of matter,” General Counsel James M. Barker said. “I did some research and felt that Legal Files would be a good fit for the organization.”
In addition to legal matter management, the in-house department plans to use its new Legal Files system to track external counsel activity, and to automatically generate departmental forms and correspondence using Legal Files’ document assembly component.
