“Legal Files is quite a comprehensive tool, and we’re pleased to be partnering with such experts.”

Legal Files Software, Inc. has been awarded a contract by James City County, Virginia, to implement Legal Files, its case management software and matter management system, for the Office of the County Attorney.

“Legal Files will enable the office to better perform and document its legal advice and litigation functions, including contract management solution, document assembly and document and electronic file management, records management, time tracking and case status tracking,” according to county attorney Adam Kinsman. “Legal Files is quite a comprehensive tool, and we’re pleased to be partnering with such experts.”

In addition to the licensing of its software, Legal Files Software, Inc. will also provide implementation services including project management, installation assistance and training. Legal Files Software, Inc. has also been tasked to provide custom programming for an internal custom web form process which will enable county employees to request services from the County Attorney’s Office and then will automatically create the relevant matter or file within the county’s Legal Files system.

Legal Files Software, Inc. was awarded the contract after county officials evaluated the company’s response to a formal request for proposal for an office-wide case management and legal case tracking system.
