Another University Chooses Legal Files Software for its Legal Department

“Given the application’s flexibility, we are seeing Legal Files installed in a variety of university settings including human resources/employee relations departments, risk management, internal audit, affirmative action, labor relations and even contracts and procurement.”

Lincoln Memorial University has joined a growing number of both public and private universities which are implementing Legal Files, the software system from Legal Files Software, Inc., as the legal case management system and matter management solution for their legal operations.

“We are so pleased Lincoln Memorial University has joined us as a client,” Legal Files CEO John Kanoski said, adding that higher education standouts such as Boston University, Seton Hall University, SUNY, Texas A&M University, University of Illinois, St. John’s University, University of Connecticut, University of Massachusetts, Bowdoin University, Villanova University, and others are also Legal Files clients.

“Finding the right software has been on our agenda for some time now,” Jennifer “Nikki” Price, LMU’s associate university counsel, said. Legal Files will provide the department with more efficient email and document management for lawyers, as well as “big picture” reporting capabilities. “Legal Files promises to help us standardize operations and integrate risk management in a flexible way,” she added.

“We are working with university counsel offices on a regular basis, but it’s not just university counsel,” Kanoski said. “Given the application’s flexibility, we are seeing Legal Files installed in a variety of university settings including human resources/employee relations departments, risk management, internal audit, affirmative action, labor relations and even contracts and procurement.”
