County Sheriff’s Office Chooses Legal Files Software for Case & Document Management

Looking to provide an organized and more efficient workplace, New York’s Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has implemented Legal Files, the popular legal document and case management system, with great success.

“Our office covers many different bureaus along with labor matters for four unions within the Sheriff’s Office,” Kim Hinkley, Counsel to the Monroe County Sheriff, said. “The customizable nature of Legal Files, along with its thorough search filters and reporting, tracking features and automated workflows, are saving this agency so much time and keeping us incredibly organized.”

Since being implemented, Legal Files has helped the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office attorneys and staff better manage their contracts, FOIL requests, grievances, HR matters, general advice and more. They’re using Legal Files’ workflow for deadlines, with all tasks and calendars being synced with Microsoft Outlook.
