Kaua‘i County Awards Contract to Legal Files Software

“Legal Files gives us the ability to connect to our system via a wide area network (WAN), providing us access wherever we are.”

The County of Kaua‘i, Hawaii, has awarded a five-year, multi-term contract to Legal Files Software, Inc. to  provide the legal case management and matter management system for its Office of the County Attorney.

The office, which handles or monitors all civil litigation and transactional matters for the county, will use its new Legal Files system to “ensure efficiency in tracking, organizing and managing the multitude of cases and matters we handle,” according to First Deputy County Attorney Matt Bracken.

“One of the major factors in selecting Legal Files,” Bracken said, “was that as a browser based application, Legal Files gives us the ability to connect to our system via a wide area network (WAN), providing us access wherever we are.”

Legal Files in-house team is providing the county attorney’s office with implementation assistance, project management, administrative and user training, as well as custom programming for a data conversion.
