U.S. Navy Significantly Expands Its Use of Legal Files Software

The Staff Judge Advocate Office of the U.S. Navy Recruiting Command has chosen to implement Legal Files case and matter management software for its organizational abilities and reliable reporting, the software’s developer, Legal Files Software, Inc. announced today. The Staff Judge Advocate Office is the second department within the U.S. Navy Recruiting Command to choose Legal Files case and matter management software, joining the Office of the Naval Inspector General (IG), which became a Legal Files customer in 2009.

Navy Recruiting Command’s IG and SJA offices work together on many cases. Now that they’re both using Legal Files, the transfer of information is seamless and much more efficient. Demonstrating its versatility to meet the legal management, reporting and workflow needs of all types of government organizations, Legal Files is also being used by FINRA, U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, and other agencies representing other levels of government, as well as corporate legal departments, universities, insurance companies and leading law firms throughout the U.S. and Canada.
