University of Central Florida taps Legal Files Software for Office of Institutional Equity

I wished, at least three times a week or more that we had Legal Files in place to help us handle the volume of information in this office.  Now that we are implementing Legal Files, we’ll be able to take our operations to the next level.”

Legal Software, Inc., the developer of the ubiquitous “Legal Files” case and matter management system, today announced that the University of Central Florida will implement the software in its Office of Institutional Equity.

The Office, which has primary responsibility for responding to all matters related to discrimination and harassment, plans to use Legal Files to electronically track and more efficiently manage all its matter types involving complaints and inquiries, as well as help to meet its reporting requirements.  “Our mission is to promote a fair and equitable work and learning environment, and Legal Files will help us do that more efficiently,” OIE Director Nany Myers said.

“I was fortunate to use Legal Files when I held a similar position at the University of Connecticut,” Myers said.  “After joining UCF, I wished, at least three times a week or more that we had Legal Files in place to help us handle the volume of information in this office.  Now that we are implementing Legal Files, we’ll be able to take our operations to the next level.”
