Disability Rights California Implements Legal Files Case Management System

Disability Rights California, the largest disability advocacy agency in the nation, has chosen Legal Files Software, Inc. as its legal case management and matter management software vendor.

“We’re using Legal Files to help us better coordinate the delivery of client services and reduce the amount of redundant information throughout the organization,” according to Jesse J. Magano, DRC’s information technology director. Legal Files is being used at DRC offices in Sacramento, Oakland, Los Angeles and San Diego.

“Legal Files has been used successfully for years at Disability Rights Texas,” Magano said. Disability Rights Texas is also a statewide organization which represents people with disabilities. “It was that project, in part, that brought Legal Files to our attention.”

Legal Files Software, Inc. was contracted to provide project management; onsite project team and system administration training; system configuration assistance and administrative setup; and onsite end user training. As part of the project, Legal Files Software, Inc. also provided custom programming services to build a data feed from an intake system.
