The City of National City in California has successfully implemented Legal Files, the popular legal document and case management system developed by Legal Files Software, Inc. in order to improve its legal department’s efficiency and organization.
The department conducted an extensive search for matter and legal document management software systems before deciding that Legal Software was best suited for it. According to Deputy City Attorney Gabriela Torres, “I knew the advantages Legal Files would give us from my time using the program at my previous job. Our department provides the City with advice and counsel on numerous municipal matters, so Legal Files’ ability to track all these issues and automate workflows based on the type of matter is going to make a major difference in our daily work.”
Legal Files is helping the City’s attorneys and staff track legal matters and cases the department handles internally, as well as matters handled by outside counsel. In addition, Legal Files will be used to create document templates; easily save, locate and share documents and other file materials; and automate processes that had previously been done manually.
