Legal Files Software Adds to List of In-House Clients

“We selected Legal Files because we are geared toward an in-house practice. Other software programs seemed like they were designed only for use in a law firm.”

Legal Files Software, Inc., a leading provider of case and matter management solutions, today announced that ShopCore Properties, L.P., has successfully deployed Legal Files 10.0, marking the latest addition to Legal Files’ list of wins in the in-house legal market.

ShopCore Properties, L.P., which owns and operates community, power, and grocery-anchored shopping centers in the United States, is using Legal Files to more efficiently manage a wide variety of legal matters and contracts, according to company Senior Vice President and General Counsel Linda Madway. The company was formerly known as Excel Trust, L.P.

“We selected Legal Files because we are geared toward an in-house practice,” Madway said. “Other software programs seemed like they were designed only for use in a law firm.”

Madway continued, “With Legal Files, we’ve implemented our first-ever electronic legal enterprise management system, so we now we are able to manage, store and track all matter related information in one location, providing ready access to anyone who requires it. Legal Files allows us, with a click or two of a button, to instantly know who is assigned to what task, what type of task is it, what’s the status of the task, and who are the parties involved.”

In addition to the licensing of its case management software and providing project management, Legal Files Software, Inc. also supplied onsite training at company’s offices in New Jersey and California.
